The World Affairs Council of Rhode Island is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting knowledge, awareness, and understanding of the world and its people, cultures, and events.

For 80 years, WACRI has brought the world to Rhode Island. Our monthly speaker series and International Visitors Program have offered our members a broad perspective on our world and its people. Our mission is to give our members meaningful insights and discussion about issues that transcend our borders as well as those that affect us locally. We foster a community of globally minded people, exchanging ideas in a civil and vibrant way.
